Dr. Cross is a Professor with CIVE at OSU and a part of the school's Transportation Materials and Geotechnical Engineering groups. 

 

• B.S. in Civil Engineering - University of Arkansas
• M.S. Civil Engineering - University of Arkansas
• Ph.D. in Civil Engineering - Auburn University

Dr. Cross has worked as a Civil Engineer for the U.S. Forest Service, as a Geotechnical Engineer for consulting firms and as a Senior Research Associate for the National Center for Asphalt Technology.  From 1992 until 2002, Dr. Cross was on the faculty of the Civil and Environmental  Engineering Department at the University of Kansas. 

Dr. Cross is a Registered Professional Engineer in Arizona, Missouri and Kansas.  He is a member of ASCE, ASTM, the Associate of Asphalt Paving Technologists and the Asphalt Recycling and Reclaiming Association.

Dr. Cross's current research projects are:
