Dr. Jeong is an Assistant Professor with the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Oklahoma Sstate University and is part of the school’s Construction Engineering and Project Management group.
Dr.Jeong’s research interests lie in management issues during construction stages and post-construction stages. His focal research areas include 1) Construction project management: Construction project scheduling and estimating, productivity, project organization, emergency construction project management, 2) Civil infrastructure asset management: condition assessment techniques, life cycle modeling, prediction of future performance, data filtering and dissemination, optimal resource allocation, and decision support systems. 3) Civil infrastructure preparedness against extreme natural hazards and man-made disasters: disaster mitigation strategies, engineering response strategies, rapid recovery, appropriate redundancy management, Simulation approaches for analyzing infrastructure network behavior after a disaster, etc.
