Dr. Ley has joined the faculty of CIVE as an Assistant Professor in Structural and Concrete Materials Engineering. He has more than 8 years of experience in the field of structural and concrete materials engineering and is a registered Professional Engineer. This experience includes work with a design consultant, government agency, and contractor in the area of highway infrastructure.
Dr. Ley’s research interests lie in the area of structural, concrete materials and construction engineering. He is especially interested in research dealing with the durability of concrete and accelerated methods of construction. He is a member of the American Society of Testing Methods, the American Society of Civil Engineers, and the American Concrete Institute. Dr. Ley is the only individual to receive both the American Concrete Institute Fellowship and the Portland Cement Association Fellowship.
