Dr. Tyagi taught on the faculty of the University of Arizona and Kansas. He teaches water resources courses in CIVE.
Dr. Tyagi is a member of many societies, including: American Society of Civil Engineers, National Society of Professional Engineers, and Oklahoma Society of Professional Engineers, He is a registered professional engineer in Oklahoma and Arizona since 1976.
Professor Tyagi has taught undergraduate and graduate level courses in Hydrology, Hydraulics, Water Resources Engineering, Groundwater Hydrology, Surface Water Hydrology, Open Channel Hydraulics, and Modeling of Water Resource Systems. His research interests include finite element modeling, GIS applications to surface water modeling, Fuzzy theory to ground water modeling, remediation of hazardous waste sites, bridge and culvert and scour modeling.
