Soliman awarded the 2016 IABMAS Young Researcher Prize

The International Association for Bridge Maintenance and Safety (IABMAS) has awarded the 2016 IABMAS Young Researcher Prize to Mohamed Soliman, Ph.D. and assistant professor in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at OSU.

Soliman won the prize for his distinguished research achievements in the areas of bridge safety, management and life-cycle performance. He will be the fifth recipient of the award since its establishment in 2006 and the first recipient from the USA. The prize recognizes achievements of young researchers in the fields of bridge maintenance and safety.

The prize ceremony will take place in June 2016 during the eighth international conference on bridge management, safety and management, to be held in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil.
